We frequently get asked about what sort of Tackle and End Gear is required for a trip so we have put together a short list of what is best suited for your chosen trip.

Here is a quick guide of what Tackle to bring for your trip
For Wrecking Trips
- 20-30lb class boat rod (A good 4-10oz uptider will also be ok just a bit on the long side)
- A medium sized multiplier reel loaded with 20/30lb braid. The new higher ratio retrieve reels are ideal for wrecking in deep water
- Range of plane leads ranging from 7oz - 1lb
- Shads, Jellyworms, Twin tails, Lead Heads, Feathers, Hockeyes etc.
- 20/30/40lb trace mono (clear)
- Plastic wrecking booms
- Good quality swivels and snap swivels
- Strong wide gaped hooks size 5/0- 6/0
For Bassing Trips
- 12/20/30lb class boat rod (Again good uptider will also do)
- Medium sized multiplier loaded with 15-20lb braid or 15lb nylon
- Range of plain leads ranging from 6oz to 12oz
- Mini shrimp rigs or Sabikis(fish skins). Sabikis Being deadly for bait catching.
- 20/30lb trace mono (clear)
- Plastic wrecking booms
- Good quality swivels and snap swivels
- Strong wide gaped hooks size 5/0-6/0
